Since Skinpoison can’t possibly make it out to every single tattoo convention and expo around the world, here’s your chance to have your photos of the good times posted here on our site. Just use the ‘Contact’ or ‘Feedback’ links on our site to send us a zip file with your convention pics. Be sure to include the name of the convention, your full name so we can credit you, and if you are an artist or shop, we will include a link back to your shop website for ya. Pictures of the same convention from different users will all be grouped onto the same page and all pix must be in jpeg format(preferably 800×600) Start sendin em’ in, we’re ready for ya!

Albany NY Modern Body Art 1st Anniversary Special!!!

Friday, October 15th is Albany Modern Body Art’s first anniversary! To celebrate, we’re having a customer appreciation event to thank all of our old friends and make some new ones. We will tattoo any design YOU bring us for $35. Now here’s the catch: your design must fit in a box approximately 2 inches X 3 inches or for $50. you get to go 3 inches X 4 inches.(not to be combined with other offers) You must bring YOUR DESIGN WITH YOU READY TO GO!!!! Now remember not everything shoved into those dimensions is tattoo-able so maybe bring a back up or stop in a day or so for approval. We will do color or black/gray whatever you want. This is a first come first served event so get here early doors open at 10am. We will go till we tap out anywhere after 10 p.m. Also Smiley will be doing $10. off all piercings and 10% off all jewelry, so this is a great way to get that new piercing done or maybe even gauge up or replace some old jewelry. AND, and we will be having a 50/50 raffle with an awesome prize. So hope to see everyone there and make some new friends.

Also going on every Tuesday this month, Brian will be tattooing horror portraits and movie monsters (Pinhead to Wolfman, Michael Myers to Grandpa Munster) for $150, by appointment only with a $50 deposit. He will only be able to knock out 2-4 a day so get on this fast as it will fill up quick!!!

All this month, everyone in the shop will be tattooing breast cancer ribbons for $50, and $10 from every tattoo will be donated to local breast cancer charities. Stop in the shop to see the designs and talk to an artist.

Also, what better month than October to take advantage of Josh Mosh’s $666 all day tattoo special, which will guarantee you about 8 hours of work, or until you can’t take anymore!

The 13th Annual NYC Tattoo Convention is comin up fast and is gonna be rockin for 3 days, May 14th-16th in NY’s one and only Times Square. Some really big names are gonna be hangin out and workin this one! Over 100 artists and vendors will be doin business all weekend at the Roseland Ballroom, which can hold about 3000 tattooed freaks and it’s going to be a packed house. So come on out and have a good time with us. What?….Like you got somethin better to do?

Motor City Tattoo Expo was a tremendous success, a huge party, and a who’s who of the tattoo world. Unbelievable work was being done by some of the world’s best tattooers, vendors had sick stuff for sale, and the bartenders had your drinks ready as soon as they saw ya walk up to the bar. Eternal Tattoos and Route 66 Tattoo put together an incredible expo in every aspect, the location was beautiful, everybody there seemed like one big family and was willing to help ya out in any way. Good people, good drinks, great food and extraordinary artists made the event an awesome experience if you got a chance to go. Special thanks goes out to Jack, Tim and Tony for keeping the blood in our alcohol streams so low, see ya next year!

1st Annual Electric City Tattoo Convention

The Electric City Tattoo Convention (March 19th-21st) is going to be a no-nonsense gathering of around 70 tattooers that are droppin a lot of truly sick work on some lucky individuals. Make sure to come out to the first annual convention put on by the incredible artists at Electric City Tattoo Gallery. These guys aren’t playin around, the tattoos are going to be phenomenal, the location is great, throughout the whole weekend they’ll have sideshow entertainment from the Jim Rose Circus, and Saturday bluegrass inspired music from the Coal Town Rounders. You are going to want to spend the whole weekend because contests will be held daily and not just limited to one day. Get all the info below and see ya there!

This years Syracuse Am-Jam Tattoo Expo brought in a ton of people from all over the United States. The masses at the convention ranged from people gettin work done, people checkin out artists and making future appointments, to the general public and curious onlookers wondering what the hell a lizard man is.

Old friends meeting up, new friends being made, partying all night long, and one of the best BBQ joints in the country only minutes away made this event one not to be missed. See ya next year!
