Konkhra have been releasing “tear your face off and crush your skull” metal albums, extensively touring Europe, playing festivals, supporting other bands on their tours, makin videos, gettin tattooed and releasing more albums since they began in Denmark in 1989.

With a sound that could be described as “Entombed meets Slayer”, it’s no wonder these guys have been around so long, still push out brutal metal and do jam sessions with Suffocation & Napalm Death (on their Homegrowth VHS video). Konkhra’s first EP, “The Facelift”, was the first ever metal EP to climb the Danish Singles Chart, and knocked Madonna off the list in the process. I think they should go after that dude Lady Gaga next.
