Picture a Satanic tent revival with a raspy, growling, rock & roll, voodoo blues band hammering on an electric piano and a drum kit. The one band in the world that would possibly fit that description perfectly, would be the Black Diamond Heavies.

Hailing from the southern U.S. comes the hard hitting duo of John Wesley Meyers(electric piano) and Van Campbell(drums). The two manage to drive out their soulful rhythmic tunes with a fierce persistence even without a guitar or bass player. I think that having them present in the band might just ruin the one of a kind sound that the two have managed to trademark with their 4 releases.
